Setup Guide

Your credentials come from your administrator. You should have received an email or message with:

• Email address
• Temporary password

If you do not have credentials yet, contact the person who invited you.

On your phone, open Safari (iPhone/iPad) or Chrome (Android).

Go to: ed.damicomedical.com

Sign in with the credentials from step 1. You can change your password later from the account menu.

Installing as an app gives you full screen, faster load, and better audio recording reliability.

1. Tap the Share button (square with an up arrow) at the bottom of Safari.
2. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
3. Confirm the name (ED Board) and tap Add.
4. Open the new icon from your home screen. The app now runs full screen with no browser bar.

1. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right of Chrome.
2. Tap Add to Home Screen or Install app.
3. Confirm and tap Add.
4. Open from the home screen icon.

When you record your first dictation, your browser will ask for microphone permission. Tap Allow.

If you accidentally denied it, open Settings on your phone, find Safari or Chrome, and enable microphone access for the site.

1. From the patient list, tap Dictate New Patient.
2. Dictate the room number, age, gender, chief complaint, then flow into HPI, Physical Exam, and MDM. Example:
   "Room 12. 45 year old male. Chest pain. HPI: Patient presents with three hours of chest pressure that started while mowing the lawn. Physical exam: general - alert, no distress. MDM: Concern for ACS, will obtain EKG and troponin..."
3. Tap stop. The app transcribes and formats automatically.
4. The patient appears on your board as In Progress with a timer.

• Card color tracks your time with the patient: green <2h, yellow 2-4h, red 4+h. Background color matches status.
• Final Dispo stops the clock and turns the card teal. Click when you are done with the patient.
• AI Tools inside a patient let you generate discharge instructions, strengthen the MDM, run medical calculators, and get clinical decision support.
• Update HPI / PE / MDM dictations weave new info into the existing note without erasing what you already wrote.
• If something fails during transcription, your audio is saved locally and you can retry from a banner on the patient list.
